Fall officially began on September 22. As autumn is upon us, B-Line asked around the Barstow School seeing what the students love most about fall and what are they most excited about.
Pumpkin spice is a very popular drink during autumn. While some look forward to this festive flavor, others don’t care for it. Ms. Scott, the B-Line Advisor, loves pumpkin spice everything, while Akram Qasem ’28 says, “Pumpkin spice is the worst drink ever.”
While not everyone may care for seasonal drinks, many can look forward to fall for all of the birthdays that happen at the beginning of school. “The only reason I love Fall is because of my birthday,” said Qasem ‘28.
What I love most about Autumn is to watch the leaves change colors and so much more. I have asked some of the Barstow students what fall means to them.
“Fall means happiness. Fall means to me sweaters and any type of pants really. Halloween, Thanksgiving, a little bit of Christmas but also Rosh Hashanah. I also feel like cutting pumpkins with friends and spending time with family,” said Lilly Simpson ‘28.
Indeed, Simpson ’28 spoke to what many of us look forward to as the weather begins to change: cozy clothing, changing leaves, and the fun of autumn holidays.
Have an amazing fall season Barstow!
