On April 11, Barstow girls soccer faced Cristo Rey Kansas City in their fifth game of the season. Barstow won 8-0, giving them their third win so far. Sophie Brous ‘23, Anna Shapoval ‘23, Camille Zenk ‘25, Sarena Biria ‘23, Sydney Georgie ‘25, and Alina Stribling ‘25 all scored.

“The team was really successful yesterday because we read the game well,” Avani Lakkireddy ‘24 said. “We made sure to play our system, which is what Huppe always tells us to do, especially in games where it feels like we can do whatever we want.”

The team will continue to work on ball movement in general and making “accurate, grounded passes.”

The team has a game today against KC Lutheran at KC Lutheran. Come out and support if you can– go Knights!
