As we sailed through the glistening waters of 2024, the year unfolds like a treasure map sealed in a glass bottle. This year ended out to be a whirlwind of innovation and transformation. We threw on our pirate hats and lifted our anchors to set sail on a year that is bound to leave a lasting imprint on the pages of history.

Dorthy Buckner (2029) mentions how 2024 has impacted her life, “In 2023 I was not the best mentally, but now I’m just way healthier due to less friend drama and also just sticking around with positive people in my life.”

Jahnavi Kakarala (2030) explains how, “This year I wanted to become more organized and manage my time wisely. I resolved this goal by using my planner and creating a schedule every day. I would go over every class as soon as I got home and make sure that all of my homework was completed. Then I would relax and get everything else done.”

2024 was a rollercoaster of events, some people had an amazing year while others didn’t. As we search for the chest of gold hidden beneath our feet, we grow stronger by the minute. Jahnavi Kakarala (2030) stated how, “2024 has tremendously impacted my life because it made me an overall better person.”

As 2024 slowly walks into the finish line we reflect on the great things that we have accomplished and discovered. Arya Ahsan (2030) explains how, “2024 was a wonderful year filled with new experiences and had lots of opportunities to learn new things.” Like Arya, many people experienced a year filled with triumphs, challenges, and heartfelt connections. As we came together to support one another through difficult times, the bonds of friendship and shared experiences were strengthened, compassion and generosity thrived. 

2024 overall was a great year, everyone learned something new and came out stronger, we all made new memorable memories with our friends and family! This year has been one big journey and we have more to come.
