Each spring, The Barstow School celebrates the longstanding tradition of kindergarten and senior buddies with a final commemoration. Throughout the year, the seniors have met with their buddies in the lower school and enjoyed activities such as decorating balloons, playing on the playground, and making mini golf obstacles.
“Being with my kindergarten buddy has been really fun and fulfilling,” said senior Avani Lakkireddy ’24. “They’re so cute and it’s been really nice to connect with the grades lower than us.” At the end of year celebration, the buddies walked across the stage together and enjoyed a program with singing and memories of the Class of 2024’s Kindergarten days. After, parents and teachers joined the students for a reception in Price Hall.
