Barstow Students Recommend Favorite Fall Activities

Fall is the time of the year for scary movies and decorating pumpkins. It’s the season for fall themed drinks and cookies.  This article will be talking about some cozy and fun fall activities.

Eden Groebel ’30 loves to do crafts during fall. She loves eating pumpkin pie, and she also likes the fall weather. Eden’s favorite candy is KitKats; she really likes the crunch on the inside.

During Halloween, one of her traditions is to carve pumpkins and decorate her home for the new season.

Groebel says, “I love trick or treating.” The activity includes dressing up, which is one of Groebel’s other favorite things about the season.

The Barstow school also has a festival called the Harvest festival. It is a time where families come together and have fun. There is usually a petting zoo and bouncy houses. “I love the activities, food, and the people,” said Jenna Mozayan ’30.

During the fall season going to the  pumpkin patch and apple picking are very popular. Early September is the prime time for good apple picking. October is the month to go to the pumpkin with your friends and family.

Fall activities are the best way to spend the season. The leaves are falling from the trees and the weather is slowly getting colder. Sweaters and hoodies are coming back into season. Happy fall!
