The girls basketball team is pumped and ready to get on the court to win some games this season with a new coach and a more experienced team.
This year, the girls basketball team returns with new players and even a new coach for sixth grade to start an amazing season. Of course, the most anticipated game on the schedule was Pembroke Hill. Pembroke Hill had a decent year last year, but Barstow has been practicing and plans to be undefeated this season. As it’s the eighth graders last year they want it to have an amazing season to finish off their middle school year!
As the team is getting ready for this season Lilly Simpson ‘28 explains what team she thinks will get dominated on the court, “Bishop Seabury. I think that they will be the easiest team to beat.” They are a great school and great team, but they need to watch out for Barstow on and off the court.
Simpson stuck out to Caroline Williams ‘28, one of the team’s major leaders this year, at practice when helping out and being the best she can be for the team to have many wins this season.
Williams explains, “She listens to everyone, and usually she can get everyone to listen to each other and helps everyone work together.”
Be sure to go out to games to support your Knights!
