Apple’s dazzling September event is their most important of the year, laying the groundwork for its product assortment for the holiday shopping season. The releases of this year’s products boosted Apple’s sales and profits, setting revenue records for the company. The iPhone 13 made its debut as well as the refreshed Apple Watch Series 7.
As has usually been the case with Apple’s September events, the iPhone was the star. Apple announced its new lineup of flagship iPhones. The iPhone line occasionally receives updates ranging from a new color to a complete redesign. We now know the iPhone 13 range will arrive with four phone variants. These four versions are to be similar to last year’s iPhone range, with a base iPhone 13, a Mini, Pro, and Pro Max models. Some tweaks to the new design included a smaller notch, a bigger camera bump, and new color variations. However, there are a few noticeable alterations and upgrades to the iPhone 13 that made it much easier to use.
iOS 15 is the new operating system for the iPhone 13, and comes with a new user interface, featuring a more crisp look along with redesigned internal mechanics such as reworked notifications and a new feature called focus mode. Focus mode just took “Do not disturb” to a whole new level, allowing us to now specifically customize locations and timings. There are dozens of tweaks and changes for other apps, which include user-created tags, mentions, walking steadiness, and a new sharing tab in the Apple Health app. Another major change is the introduction of shared in messages conversations which just adds a new interface to the message tab that shows the most recent shared items you received. iOS 15 will be launched this autumn and is compatible with iPhone 6s and beyond, meaning it will work on any device that can run iOS 14.
Last year was one of the most groundbreaking years for Apple. Revenue for the company was $274 Billion which was the highest in recent years. Many even claim that the iPhone 12 was one of the most successful Apple products, selling millions thanks to its new ergonomic design and 5G LTE data system.
After the September event Apple officially revealed the first new products including the highly anticipated iPhone 13, it features Apple’s new A15 bionic chip and holds similar characteristics close to its predecessor.
The Apple Watch Series 7 also made its debut and disproved many of the rumors assuming that it would take influence from the sharp bezel phones, the watch doesn’t feature any revolutionary features but is rather a more crisp version of the Series 6.
Another highlight of the event was the introduction of Apple’s brand-new redesigned iPad and iPad mini, both featuring the A13 Bionic and finally ditching the outdated home button setup.
The September event allowed Apple to spark excitement for their new line of products; and the new product line will definitely be available this fall.
